Being Environmental Responsible

The responsibility of owning a nature reserve is immense and imperative.  The delicate balance of plants, trees, animals, birds, insects and water is a responsibility we take seriously.  No trees are to be cut or remove without the guidance from the Environmental Agencies.  We understand and appreciate the efforts to keep the balance intact.  We, as humans, must learn to live within the balance and not disturb, but to learn and understand.  The property contains farm land, but also preserved areas that will not be touched by human activity, but only to be researched for a better understanding of this balance.  Rare species include hummingbirds, woodpeckers, hawks, eagles, macaws, parakeets and on the extinction list is the Yellow Beak Toucan.  Our plan is to enhance the Atlantic Rainforest by introducing more native species of plants and trees, introducing bees to help pollinate the forest, planting at the various springs to increase water flow and li...

A New Beginning

The purchase of Maple Leaf Springs, Maple Leaf Village and Maple Leaf Farms is complete.  Situated in the beautify Mantiqueira Mountains in the state of Rio De Janeiro, this 600+ acre land is home to many rare bird, tree and plant species.  Stay tuned as we develop this amazing land into a retreat for all to enjoy.  The area will include day use natural pools, children's playground, chalets, village with many shops and stores, restaurant, organic farm, education center and adventure trails.
